Snacks and Shakes
I’m So Hungry but I Need to Leave Rn
Approximate cost: $1.50/per each
This one is a staple snack for me. It tides me over for a few hours so I don’t go crazy.
Ingredients:
- Equate Meal Replacement Shake from Walmart
- Banana
Pros: no dishes, easy on-the-go
Cons: bananas go bad quickly

Strawberry Frosted Lemonade
This is a summer morning must have!
Ingredients:
- Frozen strawberries
- Almonds (optional)
- Lemonade
- Milk
Directions:
In a blender, put in half milk and half lemonade. If you want a more filling shake then add almonds and blend that together, then add frozen strawberries and blend. Blending the almonds by themselves before adding the strawberries helps with getting them ground up more. I often will also crush them with a hammer in a plastic baggie before putting them in the blender. The proportions are up to you for what consistency you want. Pour into a plastic cup with a straw. Rinse the blender jar before it dries.
Pros: easy cleanup, adaptable, so yummy
Cons: you have to remember to rinse the blender or it will dry and become hard to clean later
